President Bush is pushing heavily to weaken judicial oversight over it's spying programs. A judge just ruled one of these programs illegal last week, and now President Bush is pushing for congress to pass legislation to allow it to spy on Americans:

It looks like the Democrats may do what Democrats normally do: curl up in a ball and mumble "don't hurt us", giving in to the President's demands before vacation starts. Please, contact your senators and representatives to let them know this is unacceptable:
